Salvianolic acid B protects against lipopolysaccharide-induced behavioral deficits and neuroinflammatory response: involvement of autophagy and NLRP3 inflammasome.
Pei Jiang,Yujin Guo,Ruili Dang,Mengqi Yang,Dehua Liao,Huan-De Li,Zhen Sun,Qingyan Feng,Pengfei Xu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of prolonged lipopolysaccharide (LPS) treatment and SalB administration on behavioral changes, neuroinflammation, autophagic markers and NLRP3 activation in rat hippocampus were determined by using behavioral tests, real-time PCR analysis, western blot, and immunostaining.
Metabolomic Analysis of Biochemical Changes in the Plasma and Urine of First-Episode Neuroleptic-Naïve Schizophrenia Patients after Treatment with Risperidone
Hua-Lin Cai,Huan-De Li,Xianzhong Yan,Bo Sun,Qi Zhang,Miao Yan,Wen-Yuan Zhang,Pei Jiang,Rong-Hua Zhu,Yi-Ping Liu,Ping-Fei Fang,Ping Xu,Hai-Yan Yuan,Xiang-Hui Zhang,Li Hu,Wen Yang,Hai-Sen Ye +16 more
TL;DR: Metabolic signatures consisting of monoamine and amino acid neurotransmitter (NT) metabolites in plasma/urine simultaneously between first-episode neuroleptic-naïve schizophrenia patients (FENNS) and healthy controls before and after a 6-week risperidone monotherapy suggest that the patient NT profiles are restoring during treatment.

Neurochemical effects of chronic administration of calcitriol in rats.
Pei Jiang,Li-Hong Zhang,Hua-Lin Cai,Huan-De Li,Yi-Ping Liu,Mimi Tang,Ruili Dang,Wen-Ye Zhu,Ying Xue,Xin He +9 more
TL;DR: The effects of calcitriol in the major neurotransmitter systems are shown, providing new evidence for the role of VD in brain function.

Long Chain Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid Supplementation Alleviates Doxorubicin-Induced Depressive-Like Behaviors and Neurotoxicity in Rats: Involvement of Oxidative Stress and Neuroinflammation
Yanqin Wu,Ruili Dang,Mimi Tang,Hua-Lin Cai,Huan-De Li,Dehua Liao,Xin He,Ling-Juan Cao,Ying Xue,Pei Jiang +9 more
TL;DR: π-3 PUFAs can effectively protect against DOX-induced depressive-like behaviors, and the mechanisms underlying the neuroprotective effect are potentially associated with its anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic properties.
A potential mechanism underlying atypical antipsychotics-induced lipid disturbances
Hua-Lin Cai,Q Y Tan,Pei Jiang,Ruili Dang,Ying Xue,Mimi Tang,Ping Xu,Yang Deng,Huan-De Li,J K Yao +9 more
TL;DR: It is likely that PGRMC1/INSIG-2 signaling may be a therapeutic target for AAPD-induced weight gain because disturbances in lipid metabolism can occur at an early stage of AAPD treatment before the presence of weight gain.
