CONSTITUTION: The telephone system 12 has a network 14 that is connected to a switching system 16 such as an automatic calling distributer 17 included in a controller 10. The controller 10 has a routine vector 18 and receives an incoming call from a trunk 20 connecting to the network 14. The routine vector 18 is used to call an application 22 that provides scripts in the call sequentially to an application vector 24. The routine vector 18 is controlled by the user using the controller 10 at its location by allowing a computer 30 to use a programming language written in a computer use high-level language so as to comparatively simply define the control of the controller 10.

PURPOSE:To attain an operation even at power failure without the need for direct connection of a line maintenance device to a line by providing an interface outputting a control signal to the line maintenance device and supplying power. The control section 13 of the I/F 11, 12 outputs a control signal and a power supply to the line maintenance devices 9, 10 via the input/output section 15 to control the devices 9. 10. Thus, the interface in compliance with the rules of the INS network is not required and the line maintenance devices 9, 10 are operated even at power failure.

CONSTITUTION:The terminal equipment 3 provided with a key programming the content of the service on request, a storage means storing the content of the service programmed in advance by the key of the terminal equipment 3, and an exchange 1 executing the service to the terminal equipment 3 based on the content of the service stored in the storage means, are provided. That is, in programming the content of the service by the key provided to the terminal equipment 3, the content of the service is stored in the storage means and the exchange 1 executes the content of the service stored in the storage means. Thus, the user of the terminal equipment 3 requests an optional service with respect to individual circumstance to obtain a flexible system.

PURPOSE:To smooth a telephone switching operation by deriving an alternate incoming destination telephone number of an extension telephone set from a memory, and displaying the telephone number on the display area of a prescribed alternate incoming destination telephone number of, for instance, an attendant board and a telephone set with an indicator. CONSTITUTION:When extension telephone sets 8a-8n are dialed from an attendant board 3 or telephone sets 10a-10k with an indicator, a telephone number of an alternate incoming destination to its extension telephone sets 8a-8n is derived by selecting, for instance, a telephone set being in an idle state in the alternate incoming destination registered in a memory 6. Also, its telephone number is presented automatically to a telephone operator and a transmitting person. In such a way, when a telephone set of a dial destination is in a busy state, etc., a telephone can be quickly and exactly switched to the telephone set of the alternate incoming destination.
