The image-text data typesetting method comprises the steps of obtaining pictures and text information in image-text data when to-be-typeset image-text data is received; randomly displaying the obtained pictures in a sub-display region of a current display interface; and displaying the text information in a sub-display region which does not display the pictures. The invention furthermore discloses an image-text data typesetting apparatus. According to the method, the pictures and texts in the image-text data can be randomly displayed, so that the pictures and the texts in the image-text data can be displayed more flexibly.

The corner encoding technique provides for encoding areas with non-linear curves.
