An International Pilot Study of CNV in Mental Illness.
Martine Timsit-Berthier,A. Gerono,J.C. Rousseau,H. Mantanus,P. Abraham,F. Verhey,T. Lamers,P. Emonds +7 more
TL;DR: This chapter discusses an international pilot study of contingent negative variation (CNV) in mental illness, where subjects are motivated to participate by being involved in this research which could increase knowledge about mental illness.

Inhibitory influence of oxytocin infusion on contingent negative variation and some memory tasks in normal men.
Vincent Geenen,Francine Adam,Vincent Baro,H. Mantanus,Marc Ansseau,Martine Timsit-Berthier,Jean-Jacques Legros +6 more
TL;DR: Observations provide new electrophysiological arguments supporting a central action of peripheral OT administration in man, and suggest a long time effect of OT on human brain.

Self-Reports of Anxiety Level and EEG Changes after a Single Dose of Benzodiazepines
Marc Ansseau,Adrienne Doumont,Jean-Luc Cerfontaine,H. Mantanus,Jean-Claude Rousseau,Martine Timsit-Berthier +5 more
TL;DR: The value of visual analogue scales, pharmaco-EEG, and crossover design in well-selected anxious inpatients in substantiating clinical differences between anxiolytic pharmacotherapies is shown.

Comparison of adinazolam, amitriptyline, and diazepam in endogenous depressive inpatients exhibiting DST nonsuppression or abnormal contingent negative variation.
Marc Ansseau,J. M. Devoitille,Patrick Papart,Emilie Vanbrabant,H. Mantanus,Martine Timsit-Berthier +5 more
TL;DR: Findings suggest that adinazolam has an antidepressant efficacy intermediate between amitriptyline and diazepam, which was, however, much better tolerated than amitripyline, and produced significantly fewer anticholinergic side effects.
