Experimental investigation on flow properties of different biomass and torrefied biomass powders
Guiling Xu,Menghui Li,Ping Lu +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, the flow properties of four representative agricultural biomass powders (soybean straw, corn straw, rice straw and rice husk) were investigated experimentally by two different testing methods (angle of repose test and packing properties test) with a powder synthetic characteristic tester.

Modulation of lattice oxygen boosts the electrochemical activity and stability of Co-free Li-rich cathodes
TL;DR: Li et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a pre-activation strategy driven by chemical impregnation to modulate the chemical state of surface lattice oxygen, thus regulating the structural and electrochemical properties of the cathodes.

Adsorption, regeneration and kinetic of gas phase elemental mercury capture on sulfur incorporated porous carbon synthesized by template method under simulated coal-fired flue gas
TL;DR: A sulfur incorporated porous carbon (SIC) was synthesized by utilizing template method with precursor of 2-thiophene ethanol (C6H8OS) and thymol blue (C27H30O5S) as mentioned in this paper .

Experimental Investigation of Removal of SO3 from Flue Gas with Modified Fly Ash Adsorbents
Guiling Xu,Feihan Chen,Ping Lu,Miao Hong,Qi Zhang,Qiang Zhou +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the removal characteristics of SO3 from flue gas with modified fly ash adsorbents were investigated in a fixed-bed reactor, and the results showed that the SO3 adsorption efficiency of the fly ash samples increases after modification; the best SO3 removal performance of fly ash was achieved when 1.5 mol/L NaOH solution was used, with the highest SO3 adaption efficiency up to 98.3%.

Enhanced degradation of DDT using a novel iron-assisted hydrochar catalyst combined with peroxymonosulfate: Experiment and mechanism analysis.
Mengen Dang,Dan-Ling Chen,Ping Lu,Guiling Xu +3 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a heterogeneous advanced oxidation system (Fe@HC/PMS) formed by Fe@HC collaborated with peroxymonosulfate (PMS), was investigated for the removal of DDT.
