Superhydrophobic brass and bronze meshes based on electrochemical and chemical self-assembly of stearate
Mariana D. Sosa,Mariana D. Sosa,Gabriel Lombardo,Graciela Rojas,María Elena Oneto,R. Martín Negri,R. Martín Negri,Norma B. D'Accorso,Norma B. D'Accorso +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation and characterization of super-hydrophobic membranes formed on metal meshes (brass and bronze) by coating from stearic acid is presented, and the membranes were prepared by two methods: electrolysis and acid etching.

Membranes based on polyacrylamide coatings on metallic meshes prepared by a two-steps redox polymerization. Performance for oil-water separation and biofouling effects
J. Nicolás Cabrera,J. Nicolás Cabrera,J. Nicolás Cabrera,Graciela Rojas,Norma B. D'Accorso,Norma B. D'Accorso,Leonardo Lizarraga,R. Martín Negri,R. Martín Negri +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, superhydrophilic oil-water separation membranes were prepared based on chemical (non-photo-induced) polymerization of acrylamide on metal meshes, and the main characteristics of the membranes were studied as function of coverage with polyacrylamides (PAM).

Mariana D. Sosa,Gabriel Lombardo,Oneto María E,Graciela Rojas,Negri Ricardo M,Norma B. D'Accorso +5 more
- 15 Aug 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for preparing a super-hydrophobic membrane by cleaning a metal mesh by immersion in an organic solvent, subjecting the cleaned metal mesh to a surface modification treatment to increase its hydrophilicity, coating the treated metal mesh with a hydrophobic organic substance, and drying the metal coated mesh for obtaining the superhydrophilic membrane was presented.
