Blister growth in zirconium alloys: experimentation and modeling
TL;DR: In this article, a mathematical model is presented, and the corresponding equations are numerically solved by means of a finite element method, refining the discretization so as to render approximation errors unimportant.

Effect of thermal cycles on delayed hydride cracking in Zr-2.5Nb alloy
M.E. De Las Heras,S.A. Parodi,L.M.E. Ponzoni,J.I. Mieza,S.C. Müller,S.D. Alcantar,Gladys Domizzi +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the DHC propagation rate in Zr-2.5Nb alloy, after different thermal cycles: cooling to the Test temperature (Ttest); heating to Ttest; 3) after cooling to different temperatures (Tcool) and subsequent heating to ttest, and a change in the activation energy was detected around 170°C.

Comparison of delayed hydride cracking behavior of two zirconium alloys
TL;DR: In this paper, the critical hydrogen concentration for DHC and the crack velocity of a developmental pressure tube, Excel, were evaluated and compared with that of Zr-2.5Nb.

Study of variables that affect hydrogen solubility in α + β Zr-alloys
Santiago A. Parodi,Lucio M.E. Ponzoni,M. Evangelina De Las Heras,J. Ignacio Mieza,Gladys Domizzi +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the terminal solid solubility for dissolution (TSSD) and precipitation (TSSP) curves by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and found that the TSSP is affected not only by βZr phase decomposition but also by the relief of defects produced during hydride precipitation.
