Serum microRNA-139-5p is downregulated in lung cancer patients with lytic bone metastasis
Song Xu,Fan Yang,Renwang Liu,Xiongfei Li,Haiyang Fan,Jinghao Liu,Sen Wei,Gang Chen,Jun Chen,Yurong Da +9 more
TL;DR: The expression of serum miR‑139‑5p from lung adenocarcinoma patients with lytic bone metastasis was significantly lower compared to that in patients with metastases in other organs, demonstrating the potential roles of miR‐139‐5p as a biomarker and treatment target in monitoring and controlling bone metastasi in lung cancer patients.

Bin Shang,Jijun Li,Xingguang Wang,Daowei Li,Bin Liang,Yonggang Wang,Xujian Han,Weitao Dou,Gang Chen,Jianqiang Shang,Shujuan Jiang +10 more
TL;DR: The clinical effect of bronchial arterial chemoembolization with drug‐eluting beads on lung cancer is probably significant and could improve the short‐term response, PFS, and OS in patients with stage II–IV lung cancer, without increasing severe adverse reactions.

Parecoxib is neuroprotective in spontaneously hypertensive rats after transient middle cerebral artery occlusion: a divided treatment response?
Jesper Kelsen,Katrine Kjær,Gang Chen,Michael Pedersen,Lisbeth Røhl,Jørgen Frøkiær,Søren Nielsen,Jens R. Nyengaard,Lars Christian B. Rønn +8 more
TL;DR: IP parecoxib administration during tMCAo was neuroprotective, as evidenced by a large reduction in mean infarct volume and a lower cortical ADC increment, and indications of mRNA up-regulation of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and COX-2, whereas COX1 remained unaffected.
Expression of CXCR4 and VEGF‐C is correlated with lymph node metastasis in non‐small cell lung cancer
TL;DR: This study investigated the correlations between CXCR4 and VEGF‐C expression and lymph node metastasis in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
