An improved paintball gun uses a low-pressure pneumatic sear to hold the firing valve closed against the high pressure gas occupying the other side of the valve. In this manner, only one operation is required between depressing the trigger and the firing of the paintball gun because a double-acting cylinder is not required as an interface between the trigger depression and actuation of the valve. The paintball gun is also substantially faster than existing electro-pneumatic paintball guns because it uses a blow forward bolt, in which higher-pressure gas is held directly behind the bolt and has only one direction to travel during the firing of the paintball gun.

einstromt, durch das Innenrohr bzw. den Innenkuhlmantel (27) bis zum vorderen
Ende des Kuhlkopfes (10) gefuhrt wird und dabei an dem das Sprengmittel
(5) enthaltenden Sprengmittelbehalter (25) vorbei stromt und dann zwischen
dem Innenkuhlmantel (27) und dem Kuhlkopfgehause (23) wieder zuruck zum
Versorgungskopf (11) und von diesem aus der heisen thermischen Anlage heraus
gefordert wird. Vorzugsweise wird neben dem Sprengmittel (5) ein granulatformiges
Schuttgut (55) angeordnet, das bei der Detonation infolge der entstehenden
Druckwelle gegen das zu zerstorende Material geschossen wird.

The aim of the invention is to provide a compressed gas discharge device which has a simple, light design and which can be used in a universal manner in various fields, particularly for removing dirt, incrustations, baking deposits, coatings etc. and for removing impediments in the flow of bulk material (blockages, loosening), in addition to providing a low-cost device which is easy to handle. According to the invention, the impulse discharge device (1) is characterized by a) a projectile course (2) for receiving and accelerating the projectile bodies (3), b) a compressed gas housing (5) which is connected to the projectile course (2) and which is divided up into a compressed gas chamber (11) and a working chamber (12) by means of a partition (10), c) a working piston (7) arranged in the compressed gas housing (5) and provided with a valve plate (8) which is arranged on the front end of the piston rod (6) thereof for moveable rear closure of the projectile course (2), whereby the working piston (7) is embodied as a moveable backward closure element for the working chamber (12) and the piston rod (6) is guided through the partition (10).
