The invention discloses a display panel, a driving method thereof and a display device. The display panel comprises a luminescence control structure, wherein the luminescence control structure comprises a first switch layer, a second switch layer, a bidirectional luminous pixel layer and a one-way luminous pixel layer; the bidirectional luminous pixel layer is positioned between the first switch layer and the second switch layer; the one-way luminous pixel layer is positioned on the outer side of the first switch layer or the outer side of the second switch layer, emits light towards the outer side, and comprises a plurality of one-way luminous sub pixels; the bidirectional luminous pixel layer comprises a plurality of bidirectional luminous sub pixels; the one-way luminous sub pixels and the bidirectional luminous sub pixels are arrayed in a staggered manner; when the first switch layer and the second switch layer are opened, the display panel is transparent; and when the first switch layer and the second switch layer are closed, the display panel is not transparent. Single-surface displaying, double-surface displaying and stereo displaying can be respectively realized by the display panel under different control conditions. Compared with the prior art, the display panel has the advantage that a multifunctional displaying effect is achieved. Materials can be saved, and the cost is reduced.

The organic luminous display panel further comprises a first light shading layer and a second light shading layer, and the first light shading layer and the second light shading layer are used for shading light emitted from organic layers, wherein the first light shading layer shades first luminous faces of the organic luminous layers of part of the pixel units, and the second light shading layer shades second luminous faces of the organic luminous layers of the rest pixel units. By combination of the double-side luminous type organic luminous layers and the light shading layers, double-side lumination is achieved, the structure is simple, and technology is easy to achieve.
