New far-infrared transmitting Te-based chalcogenide glasses
Guoxiang Wang,Qiuhua Nie,Xunsi Wang,Xiang Shen,Fen Chen,Tiefeng Xu,Shixun Dai,Xianghua Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported on the synthesis of tellurium-based glasses that have a wide transmission far beyond the second atmospheric window and investigated their glass-forming ability, thermal stability, and IR transmitting property.

Effect of Ce3+(Eu3+) codoping on the spectroscopic properties of Er3+ in bismuth-germanate glass
TL;DR: In this paper, the energy transfer mechanisms between Er 3+ and the codopants were discussed based on their energy level diagrams, and the results indicate that the Er 3+, /Ce 3+ is a preferable codoped scheme for bismuth-germanate glass with low phonon energy to obtain an efficient broadband EDFA pumped at 980nm.

Enhanced 1.53 μm radiative transition in Er3+/Ce3+ co-doped tellurite glass modified by B2O3 oxide
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of B2O3 modification on the 1.53μm band spectroscopic properties of Er3+, structural nature and thermal stability of glass hosts was investigated.

Linear and nonlinear optical properties of Sb-doped GeSe 2 thin films
TL;DR: In this paper, Sb-doped GeSe2 chalcogenide thin films are prepared by the magnetron co-sputtering method and the linear optical properties of as-deposited films are derived by analyzing transmission spectra.

Effect of hydroxyl groups on Er3+-doped bismuth-borate glass and fiber
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of Er3+-doped Bi2O3-B2O-3-GeO2-Na2O glasses with different OH− group contents were prepared and the interactions between Er3 + ions and OH− groups were investigated.
