A PDMS microfluidic impedance immunosensor for E. coli O157:H7 and Staphylococcus aureus detection via antibody-immobilized nanoporous membrane
TL;DR: In this paper, a PDMS microfluidic immunosensor integrated with specific antibody immobilized alumina nanoporous membrane was developed for rapid detection of foodborne pathogens Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Staphylococcus aureus with electrochemical impedance spectrum.

Detection of bacteria with organic electrochemical transistors
Rong-Xiang He,Rong-Xiang He,Meng Zhang,Fei Tan,Polly H.M. Leung,Xingzhong Zhao,Helen L. W. Chan,Mo Yang,Feng Yan +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used organic transistors for the detection of E. coli O157:H7 in KCl electrolytes and found that the transfer characteristic of the OECT shifts to higher gate voltage after bacteria are captured on the active layer of the device, which can be attributed to the electrostatic interaction between the bacteria and the transistor.

A polymeric microfluidic device integrated with nanoporous alumina membranes for simultaneous detection of multiple foodborne pathogens
TL;DR: In this paper, a non-biofouling polyethylene glycol (PEG) based microfluidic chip integrated with functionalized nanoporous alumina membrane for simultaneous electrochemical detection of two types of bacteria Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Staphylococcus aureus from the mixed samples.

In situ generated PtNPs to enhance electrochemiluminescence of multifunctional nanoreactor COP T4VTP6 for AFB1 detection.
TL;DR: In this paper , a competitive quenching electrochemiluminescence immunosensor towards aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) detection was constructed by in-situ forming platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) on ECL emitter COP T4VTP6 and effective ECL signal quencher Fc-CHO/Phe.
