The computing device is configured to store an access key in a storage location in order for the computing device to operate in an operational mode. The method comprises removing the access key from the storage location in response to an event indicative of the end of the operational mode.

The method comprises the following steps that: (1) a mobile phone establishes data information connection with a server capable of accessing the Internet, and transmits a request; (2) the server verifies the request passing through the mobile phone; (3) the server searches for a corresponding personal computer capable of actively connecting the server by the Internet; (4) the mobile phone establishes data communication connection with the personal computer by the server; and (5) the mobile phone performs data transmission with the personal computer to realize the information content backup or recovery of the mobile phone. The method has the characteristics of high backed-up/recovered information content security, convenience in a backup/recovery process and low running cost.

The disclosed system includes a server (600), and an information terminal device (100) which can be locally connected to a mobile telephone (200) that can be connected to the server via a mobile telephone communication network (300). If the request is legitimate, the server connects with the mobile telephone (200), and transmits a packet for prompting the activation of the information terminal device (100) via the mobile telephone (200). Upon receiving the packet for prompting activation which was sent by the server, the information terminal device (100) becomes activated, and connects with the server (600).
