Efficient Verification of ReLU-Based Neural Networks via Dependency Analysis
Elena Botoeva,Panagiotis Kouvaros,Jan Kronqvist,Alessio Lomuscio,Ruth Misener +4 more
- 03 Apr 2020
TL;DR: An automated procedure is derived that exploits dependency relations between the ReLU nodes, thereby pruning the search tree that needs to be considered by MILP-based formulations of the verification problem, and is augmented with methods for input domain splitting and symbolic interval propagation.
The Virtual Knowledge Graph System Ontop
Guohui Xiao,Davide Lanti,Roman Kontchakov,Sarah Komla-Ebri,Elem Güzel-Kalayci,Linfang Ding,Julien Corman,Benjamin Cogrel,Diego Calvanese,Elena Botoeva +9 more
- 02 Nov 2020
TL;DR: The challenges, design choices, new features of the latest release of Ontop v4, summarizing the development efforts of the last 4 years are described.
Inseparability and Conservative Extensions of Description Logic Ontologies: A Survey.
Elena Botoeva,Boris Konev,Carsten Lutz,Vladislav Ryzhikov,Frank Wolter,Michael Zakharyaschev +5 more
TL;DR: This chapter surveys results on various notions of inseparability in the context of description logic ontologies, discussing their applications, useful model-theoretic characterizations, algorithms for determining whether two ontologies are inseparable (and, sometimes, for computing the difference between them if they are not), and the computational complexity of this problem.

Formal Verification of Neural Agents in Non-deterministic Environments
Michael E. Akintunde,Elena Botoeva,Panagiotis Kouvaros,Alessio Lomuscio +3 more
- 05 May 2020
TL;DR: A novel parallel algorithm for MILP-based verification of agent-environment systems, present an implementation, and report the experimental results obtained against a variant of the VerticalCAS use-case.

Efficient Handling of SPARQL OPTIONAL for OBDA
Guohui Xiao,Roman Kontchakov,Benjamin Cogrel,Diego Calvanese,Elena Botoeva +4 more
- 08 Oct 2018
TL;DR: This work proposes optimisation techniques for reducing the size and improving the structure of generated SQL queries in the Ontology-Based Data Access (OBDA) setting, where the data is stored in a SQL relational database and exposed as a virtual RDF graph by means of an R2RML mapping.
