The NAD is one of NADs managed by the management server. The NAD determines whether the management server is reachable using a UDP protocol. The NAD transmits the UDP packet to the management server using the UDP protocol over the Internet if it is determined that the management server is reachable using the UDP protocol. Otherwise, the NAD extracts a UDP payload from the UDP packet, encapsulates the UDP payload within an HTTP POST request, and transmits the HTTP POST request having the UDP payload encapsulated therein to the management server using a HTTP protocol over the Internet.

Network entities that record data usage associated with the device may detect which port the device used to send data and use port-to-source (e.g., port-to-hardware-interface) mapping data to determine the source (e.g., the source hardware interface) of the data. The network entities may report this data usage, along with the determined data sources, to a billing system so that the billing system may accordingly differentially bill a subscriber associated with the device.

The invention utilizes a plurality of robotic process automation (RPA) bots to generate data regarding production issues within applications. The RPA bots may simulate user access to the environment (i.e. user load) to predict possible issues or failures of the application within the particular environment. The RPA bots may further be used to identify the needs of an application when migrating the application from one environment to another. To this end, the bots may perform a dynamic simulation sequence for accessing applications, which may provide a realistic simulation of user load for an application within a certain environment. In this way, bots may be used to monitor and understand the complete runtime sequence and behavior of applications that would enable administrators to select the appropriate stack of modules of the destination infrastructure.

A system for implementing robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance computer network security. Specifically, RPA is used to detect an unauthorized attempt to access a dataset and, in response, the unauthorized entity is provided access to a bot-generated modified dataset that includes modified data elements that are reasonable facsimiles of the actual data elements and do not expose confidential data. Once access to the modified data set is provided, RPA is implemented to track actions by the unauthorized entity accessing the modified data set and, once copied, RPA is implemented to track usage of the data by the unauthorized entity. Additionally, RPA may be implemented to mitigate damages caused by attempts or actual accessing of the actual datasets by performing actions that prevent further damages, such as deactivating/activating resource storage and authorizing previously configured resource events.

The remote devices are configured to automatically detect network connectivity and to open a network connection to a remote port access (RPA) server. A client device establishes a network connection to the RPA server in order to access data from or to provide data to one or more of the remote devices. The RPA server acts as an intermediary between the RPA server and the remote devices that receives data from the client device and sends the data to the remote device and receives data from the remote devices and sends the data to the client device.
