A printing cylinder assembly for a printing machine is provided, the assembly having a sleeve cylinder which can be simply coupled to and decoupled from a rotating shaft and which can be exchanged easily. The sleeve cylinder 30 is mounted to fit on the rotating shaft 20 so that it can be fitted on, and be extracted from, the rotating shaft 20, constituting a printing cylinder (comprising a plate and a blanket cylinder 2, 3). The rotating shaft 20 is provided with a cam shaft 41 and a coupling member 42 that constitutes a coupling mechanism 40. In a coupling and a decoupling state which the coupling mechanism 40 comes into, rotations of the cam shaft 41 cause the coupling member 42 to couple and decouple the sleeve cylinder 30 to and from the rotating shaft 20 when the coupling member 42 is diametrically urged against, and parted from, the inner diametric surface of the sleeve cylinder 30, respectively. The sleeve cylinder 30 and the rotating shaft 20 can thus be simply coupled to and decoupled from each other only by rotary operations of the cam shaft 41.

The invention discloses an ironing and interlining system which comprises a machine, a feeding device, a taking device and an ironing and interlining device. A conveying surface is arranged on the machine, and can be used for holding interlining ribbons. The feeding device is provided with a support, a feeding plate, feeding drive components and a positioning blowpipe, the support is connected to the machine, the feeding drive component is arranged on the machine and connected to the feeding plate to drive the feeding plate to move, the feeding plate is used for overlap placement of multiple cut-parts, the feeding plate is provided with fixing air suction holes, and the positioning blowpipe is arranged on the support and located above the feeding plate. The taking device is arranged on the machine and used for getting the cut-parts from the feeding plate and moving the cut-parts to the interlining ribbons located on the conveying surface. The ironing and interlining device is arranged on the machine and used for ironing and interlining the interlining ribbons and the cut-parts. The ironing and interlining system is timesaving, laborsaving and high in ironing and interlining efficiency.

Live imaging allows observations of cell structures and processes in real time, to monitor dynamic changes within living organisms compared to fixed organisms. Fluorescence microscopy was used to monitor the dynamic infection process of the nematode parasitic bacterium Pasteuria sp. and the sugarcane root-lesion nematode, Pratylenchus zeae. Under fluorescence microscopy, green-autofluorescent globules were observed in live control and Pasteuria sp.-infected nematodes. Only nematodes killed by Pasteuria sp. or heat treated displayed a diffuse pattern of autofluorescence. Propidium iodide (PI), used as a cell membrane integrity indicator, confirmed that the nematode's cuticle acts as an impermeable barrier. PI stained cells/DNA of heat-treated control and Pasteuria sp.-infected P. zeae. PI as a counterstain facilitated the location of Pasteuria endospores on the cuticle surface of P. zeae. No PI staining was observed in sporangia and in endospores within the nematode body. However, PI specifically stained endospores on the cuticle surface and within the cuticle carcass showing, in mature propagules, a ring-like pattern. Live imaging, combined with fluorescence microscopy and fluorescent dyes such as PI, appears useful in live studies on plant nematode interactions with nematophagous bacteria.

The pitch changing device includes a first orbiting member (204) orbiting about a first axis (A) and rotating about a second axis (B) and a second orbiting member (204) orbiting about a third axis (A) and rotating about a fourth axis (B). The first orbiting member and second orbiting member form a nip (220) and the nip receives a stream of signatures. The first and second orbiting members vary a velocity of the signatures so as to alter the initial pitch. A folder and a method for changing a pitch between consecutive signatures is also provided.

A variable cutoff web cutting apparatus is provided including a first knife cylinder having a first segmented knife blade. The first knife cylinder rotates about a first cylinder axis in a web travel direction and the first segmented knife blade rotates about a first knife axis in the opposite direction. Also included is a first counterpart cylinder, which the first segmented knife blade contacts to perforate a web. The cutting apparatus also includes a second knife cylinder having a second knife blade. The second knife cylinder rotates about a second cylinder axis in the web travel direction and the second knife blade rotates about a second knife axis the opposite direction. Also included is a second counterpart cylinder, which the second knife blade contacts to cut the web adjacent to where the first segmented knife blade perforated the web, so as to sever the web and create a signature.
