High performance exhaled breath biomarkers for diagnosis of lung cancer and potential biomarkers for classification of lung cancer.
Yijing Long,Chunyan Wang,Tianzhi Wang,Wenwen Li,Wei Dai,Shaohua Xie,Shaohua Xie,Yonghui Tian,Mingxin Liu,Yifeng Liu,Yifeng Liu,Xiaoqin Peng,Xiaoqin Peng,Yuanling Liu,Yinchenxi Zhang,Ruxin Wang,Qiang Li,Qiang Li,Yixiang Duan +18 more
TL;DR: The reliable biomarkers contribute to the clinical application of breath analysis in screening LC patients as well as those in early stages, and it is demonstrated that the metabolism changes in LC are possibly related to lipid oxidation, gut microbial, cytochrome P450 and glutathione S-transferase, and glutATHione pathways change in LC progression.

Exploratory study on classification of lung cancer subtypes through a combined K-nearest neighbor classifier in breathomics.
Chunyan Wang,Yijing Long,Wenwen Li,Wei Dai,Shaohua Xie,Shaohua Xie,Yuanling Liu,Yinchenxi Zhang,Mingxin Liu,Yonghui Tian,Qiang Li,Yixiang Duan +11 more
TL;DR: The combined algorithm could improve the classification performance of lung cancer subtypes in breathomics and suggested that combining non-invasive exhaled breath analysis with multivariate analysis is a promising screening method for informing treatment options and facilitating individualized treatment of lungcancer subtypes patients.
Metabolite profiling of mice under long-term fructose drinking and vitamin D deficiency: increased risks for metabolic syndrome and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
Wenwen Li,Li Zhang,Yuanling Liu,Chunyan Wang,Yijing Long,Zhixin Huang,Yuan-Ping Han,Yixiang Duan +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored metabolic changes of mice fed with high fructose syrup and VDD diet in the biogenesis of metabolic syndrome and NAFLD, showing significant non-alcoholic steatohepatitis features.
VOC biomarkers identification and predictive model construction for lung cancer based on exhaled breath analysis: research protocol for an exploratory study.
Wenwen Li,Wei Dai,Mingxin Liu,Yijing Long,Chunyan Wang,Shaohua Xie,Shaohua Xie,Yuanling Liu,Yinchenxi Zhang,Qiuling Shi,Xiaoqin Peng,Xiaoqin Peng,Yifeng Liu,Yifeng Liu,Qiang Li,Yixiang Duan +15 more
TL;DR: The aim of this study is to identify volatile organic compound (VOC) biomarkers in lung cancer and to construct a predictive model for lung cancer based on exhaled breath analysis using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry coupled with solid phase microextraction technique.
