TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a multifunctional interface realization mode, which consists of a processor and at least two switch chips, each switch chip comprises a media independent interface, a serial management interface and multiple general data interfaces, and the switch chip performs cascading through the general data interface, so that a switch chip cascading system is formed.
