The invention provides a high-orbit synthetic aperture radar moving target speed detection method. Based on change information in different original sub-aperture images, speed estimation of a moving target is achieved, and problems of low detection probability, blind speed and smallest detection speed limitations of a traditional single-channel moving target detection system are overcome. According to the invention, through radial speed and azimuth speed, phase compensation functions are continuously updated; BP imaging is carried out again until the radial speed and the azimuth speed meet a set condition and satisfy the certain precision requirement. BP imaging is performed for many times, so the acquired sub-aperture image focusing degree is quite high, video-like high-orbit SAR productsof can be provided, all kinds of movement parameter information of positions, speed and moving trends of the moving target is acquired and application level of the SAR image product is remarkably improved.

An angular flicker suppression method is introduced, angle measurement errors caused by angular flicker of a complex target are reduced, and the tracking precision of the target is improved.

The method includes the following steps that: (1) post-range pulse compression sum channel data and post-range pulse compression difference channel data are obtained; (2) a sum angle measuring curve and a difference angle measuring curve within antenna beam width under an actual condition are obtained; (3) a sum antenna directional pattern and a difference antenna directional pattern under an ideal condition are calculated, and a sum angle measuring curve and a difference angle measuring curve within antenna beam width under an ideal condition are obtained; (4) the phase error of the actual sum angle measuring curve and the ideal sum angle measuring curve, and the phase error of the actual difference angle measuring curve and the ideal difference angle measuring curve are calculated; (5) phase error compensation is performed on the actual angle measuring curves, and post-phase error compensation improved angle measuring curves are obtained; (6) the angle deviation quantity of a target relative to a beam center is obtained; and (7) the real geometric position of the target in space is obtained, and precise positioning of all detected point targets is realized. With the method of the invention adopted, position accuracy is greatly improved, and test effects are more stable.
