The present invention comprises systems, methods and devices for the delivery of compositions for occluding or of means for opening conduits. The implantable occlusive material may be delivered pre-formed or in situ cured and, may be a resorbable material that supports tissue ingrowth that eventually replaces the material leaving little or no original material in place. The delivery system is positioned to allow for placement of the occlusive material into the body conduit. Use of delivery systems, methods and devices for re-opening an occluded body conduit are also included.

Caps, containers embodying such caps, and methods of enhancing cap safety. Air flow passages through the cap enable one, who accidentally swallowed the cap, to breathe/pass air through the cap. Some air passages extend top to bottom. Openings in the outer side wall, and an air flow path across the cap, allow air to enter the cap on a first side, flow transversely through the cap, and exit an opposing side. The top-to-bottom air flow passages, and the air flow path across the cap, including the openings in the outer wall of the cap, collectively support air flow through the cap, thus through the person's airway, if/when the cap becomes accidentally lodged in a person's airway. The openings can be used to engage and extract an accidentally swallowed cap. Elements of an optional tamper evident ring remain attached to the cap after the cap is removed from the container.

A dispensing cap for a container includes a first lid having a dispensing surface and a skirt depending from a periphery thereof. The dispensing surface is formed from at least one of a substantially transparent and translucent material and includes several apertures. A second lid has a second dispensing surface and a second skirt depending from a periphery thereof that is adapted to be inserted into and releasably held within the first lid. The second dispensing surface includes several orifices. The first and second lids are rotatable a full 360° relative to one another.

A closure (4) for attachment to a cover (1) having an opening presenting an upstanding rim, comprising a body (5) having an annular top wall (10), said top wall merging with spaced inner and outer walls defining a depending body recess (14) for capturing said rim, said outer wall having threads (12) extending generally outwardly therefrom and the top wall presenting a notch; a cap (16) having a top, said top presenting a projection (18) disposed for alignment with said notch, an outer wall depending from said top, said outer wall having threads (21) for engagement with the threads of said body outer wall.

A cap for a container neck includes a tubular skirt defining a central axis. The skirt includes an internal first skirt part, means for removably fixing the first skirt part to an exterior surface of the container neck, and a second skirt part. The second skirt part includes a first axial end connecting the second skirt part to the first skirt part, internally having at least one surface adapted to abut a free end of the container neck. The second skirt part also includes a second axial end opposite the first end, and an intermediate part extending between the first and second ends. Ribs project radially from the intermediate part in a direction substantially parallel to the axis. A radial dimension of the intermediate part is less than a radial distance between the exterior cylindrical surface of the first skirt part and the interior radial end of the abutment surface.

Cap for a container neck

A bottle closure having an outer shell with a frusto-conical configuration and a rib-supported threaded inner shell is described. The frusto-conical configuration of the outer shell allows the user to easily pickup the package and grip the closure and remove it from a bottle. The inner shell is threaded to allow the closure to engagingly mate with threads on a bottle or similar container. The inner shell is supported by ribs which face toward the outer shell. The ribs provide that the inner shell can be unscrewed from a threaded core of a manufacturing mold during production without causing noticeable distortion in the closure.
