Application of Backstepping to the Virtual Flux Direct Power Control of Five-Level Three-Phase Shunt Active Power Filter
TL;DR: In this paper, a virtual flux direct power control-space vector modulation combined with backstepping control for three-phase five-level neutral point clamped shunt active power filter is proposed.

Sliding mode Control using 3D-SVM for Three-phase Four-Leg Shunt Active Filter
TL;DR: In this paper, a sliding mode control strategy for a three-phase shunt active power filter (SAPF) is proposed to ensure full compensation for harmonic phase currents, harmonic neutral current, reactive power compensation and unbalanced nonlinear load currents.

Reactive power compensation in three-phase four-wire distribution system using four-leg DSATATCOM based on symmetrical components
Bouafia Saber,Benaissa Abdelkader,Barkat Said,Bouzidi Mansour +3 more
- 01 Dec 2015
TL;DR: In this article, a control algorithm based on symmetrical components is proposed to control a three-level four-leg (3L4L) DSTATCOM, which is designed in a synchronous rotating reference frame to provide high dynamic performance with complete decouple control of active power needed by the inverter and reactive power compensation required by the load.

Sliding Mode Control of Three Levels Back-To-Back VSC-HVDC System Using Space Vector Modulation
TL;DR: In this paper, a sliding mode control scheme was proposed to control a three levels Back-to-Back High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) system based on the three-level voltage source converter (VSC).

DC-link capacitor voltage balancing strategy for three-level four-leg DSTATCOM-SMES system
Bouafia Saber,Benaissa Abdelkader,Barkat Said,Bouzidi Mansour +3 more
- 01 May 2017
TL;DR: In this article, a new approach for balancing the intermediate DC-link capacitor voltage of three-level four-leg DSTATCOM-SMES system is presented, which is connected to a four-wire distribution system feeding a non-unity power factor unbalanced load.
