Chaos-Based Partial Transmit Sequence Technique for Physical Layer Security in OFDM-PON
TL;DR: A physical layer security scheme via chaotic partial transmit sequence (PTS) technique in orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing passive optical network (OFDM-PON) shows reliable robustness against exhaustive attacks and improves the OFDM transmission performance due to the effective reduction of the peak-to-average power ratio.

Blind identification of the number of sub-carriers for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-based elastic optical networking
TL;DR: The number of sub-carriers of OFDM-based EON signals with help of high-order cyclic cumulant was successfully identified in the experiment and the average identification absolute accuracy (IAAs) exceeded 94%.

Generation and transmission of a High-bit-rate optical millimeter wave with an unrepeated long single-span using equalization amplification
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel experiment system of optical millimeter-wave with high-bit-rate and broadband is proposed using single laser and single stage data modulation, which can be effectively adjusted.

Wavelength contention resolution in WSS based ROADMs
TL;DR: A new contention resolution scheme is proposed, which converts wavelengths with tunable wavelength converters and add/drop demands as usual and has improved the blocking performance than the conventional one without expanding the dimension of the add/ drop part at a lower relative cost.
