TL;DR: It is found that meningococcal carriage reaches its peak level by age 17, the highest carriage rate was found in 21 - to 24 - year-olds and the majority of the carriage cases were due to serogroup W.

TL;DR: Colistin therapy was found to be acceptable treatment option for the severe pediatric nosocomial infections caused by multi-drug resistant bacteria, however, the use of concomitant nephrotoxic drugs with colistin must be avoided and renal function test should be closely monitored.

TL;DR: It is shown that S. penumoniae serotypes was less non-susceptible to penicillin as compared to the previous results, which may be attributed to increasing vaccinated children in Turkey and the increasing non-vaccine serotype coverage in years may be explained by serotype replacement.
