PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color converting device capable of converting color appropriately by suppressing the discontinuity of gradation at the boundary of a color reproduction region, and to provide a color conversion method and a color conversion program. SOLUTION: The color converting device has a prescribed point color conversion value calculation means and an interpolation calculation means. The device is used for the color conversion of numbers having a plurality of colors of input image data to numbers having a plurality of colors used by a display for displaying an image. The prescribed point color conversion value calculation means calculates a color conversion value to each of a plurality of prescribed points including a point positioned at least outside the color reproduction region. The interpolation calculation means uses the color conversion value of a prescribed point for interpolation calculation to convert the color to input image data. In the color converting device, a value outside the color reproduction region becomes nearly the same even if the boundary of the color reproduction region is positioned halfway at the prescribed point, and a value inside the color reproduction region changes smoothly, thus suppressing the discontinuity in the gradation occurring at the boundary of the color reproduction region in the color conversion, and calculating the color reproduction value of multi-primary color appropriately. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize complex and dynamic graphics and windows in real time by providing means selecting or combining pixel data to be displayed on graphic display devices from at least pixel data of screens of two or more which are to be constituted by complex graphics basing on a display priority order. SOLUTION: The selector of a pixel synthesizing part 7 synthesizes display color data of graphics to be plotted from display color data of a frame memory 6 in which display control data of videos of a video cameral or the like to be inputted from an A/D convert 5 are stored and the command to be inputted from a frame memory A 3. Since the display color data of a graphic to be inputted from the frame memory A 3 are multi-level color information in which display priority order information are included in addition to the display color data, the pixel synthesizing part 7 selects display color data to be transmitted to graphic display devices by the display priority order information stored in a memory for control 4 to output them to various kinds of graphic display devices via a D/A converter 8.
