- 05 Feb 2021
TL;DR: In this article, an ultrasound-assisted extraction of carotenoids from orange peel using olive oil as a solvent was developed. But the results of the extraction were limited, and the results were only obtained under the optimal conditions of 35 min, extraction temperature of 42 ℃, and a liquid-to-solid ratio of 15 mL/g.

Examining the Effects of the Destroying Ammunition, Mines, and Explosive Devices on the Presence of Heavy Metals in Soil of Open Detonation Pit: Part 1—Pseudo-total Concentration
Neda Tešan Tomić,Slavko Smiljanić,Mihajlo Jović,Miladin Gligorić,Dragan Povrenović,Aleksandar Došić +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the results of determining the pseudo-total concentration of five heavy metals in the soil on which the destruction of ammunition, mines, and explosive devices is carried out by the method of open detonation.
