TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined how the CRR Credit Risk Risk Ratio (CRR Credit risk ratio) affects the banks' profitability and found that ROA and ROE vary each of them depending on CRR credit risk ratio, which is expressed as the ratio of gross value of exposure to loans and related interest under "doubtful" and "loss" to total classified loans and corresponding interest pertaining to nonbank loans, off-balance sheet items excluded.
