TL;DR: New precise H(e,e(')p)pi(0) measurements at the Delta(1232) resonance at Q(2) obtained at the MIT-Bates out-of-plane scattering facility give credence to the conjecture of deformation in hadrons favoring, at low Q2, the dominance of mesonic effects.

Determination of single-nucleon wave functions by transverse electron scattering.
R. S. Hicks,J. Button-Shafer,B. Debebe,J. Dubach,A. Hotta,R.L. Huffman,R. A. Lindgren,G. A. Peterson,R.P. Singhal,C. W. de Jager +9 more
TL;DR: Transverse form factors have been measured for elastic electron scattering from /sup 10/B and /sup 11/B, as well as for the electroexcitation of the 1.74-MeV and 5.17-Mev levels to determine the radial shape of the1p/sub 3/2/ single-particle wave function within the nuclear interior.

TL;DR: The mean square polarizability radii of the proton have been measured for the first time in a virtual-Compton-scattering experiment performed at the MIT-Bates out-of-plane scattering facility and support the dominance of mesonic effects in the polarizabilities.

Electroexcitation of odd-parity states inAl27
TL;DR: Inelastic electron scattering form factors were measured for the low-lying odd-parity states of /sup 27/Al over a momentum transfer range of 0.57 to 2.41 fm/sup -1/. Reduced ground-state transition probabilities were deduced for states at 4.055 MeV, 1/2/sup-/ and 5.6 MeV levels.

Transverse isoscalar excitations in 24Mg by 180 degrees electron scattering.
TL;DR: Because of the large longitudinal form factors for these transitions, sometimes exceeding the transverse form factor by more than a factor of 10/sup 4/, it was necessary to observe electrons scattered at 180/sup 0/ so that longitudinal scattering was minimized.
