TL;DR: The results suggest that young age at introduction of dairy products and high milk consumption during childhood increase the levels ofcow's milk antibodies and that high IgA antibodies to cow's milk formula are independently associated with increased risk of IDDM.
HLA haplotypes in Type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus: molecular analysis of the HLA-DQ locus
P. J. Tienari,Tuomilehto-Wolf E,J. Tuomilehto,Leena Peltonen,Hans K. Åkerblom,A. Fagerlund,M. v. Flittner,B. Gustafsson,A. Hakulinen,L. Herva,P. Hiltunen,T. Huhtamäki,N. P. Huttunen,T. Huupponen,M. TL;DR: Results provide further evidence that not only the polymorphism at the DQ locus but also other genes of the haplotypes contribute to susceptibility to Type 1 diabetes.
Effect of conventional dose growth hormone therapy for two years on height velocity and height prognosis in girls with Turner syndrome.
TL;DR: The aims of this national multicentre study in Finland were to evaluate whether the height velocity of patients with Turner syndrome would increase with the conventional human growth hormone (GH) therapy regimen normally given to GH-deficient children and whether girls with Turner Syndrome actually show GH neurosecretory dysfunction.

Glucose Profiles in Children Two Years After the Onset of Type 1 Diabetes
TL;DR: It is concluded that glucose profiles frequently uncover otherwise poorly recognizable disturbances of metabolic contol in children with diabetes.

Serum insulin profiles in consecutive children 2 years after the diagnosis of IDDM.
T. Simell,J. Mäenpää,Kaprio Ea,A. Hakulinen,Jari Hakalax,I. Sipilä,Hans K. Åkerblom,Olli Simell +7 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that in children the mean and AUC values of serum insulin profiles are age-dependent but C-peptide independent 2 years after the diagnosis of IDDM despite similar weight-based mean insulin doses.
