Abstract: The genus Willughbeia Roxb. is revised. A total of 15 species are recognised. One new combination is made. Urnularia Stapf is reduced to synonymy within Willughbeia. Species exclusae have been given as well as an index of exsiccatae.

TL;DR: A specimen of Willughbeia collected in Sarawak which proved to be a new species related to W. sarawacensis (Pierre) K. Schum.
Abstract: Whilst examining the material of Apocynaceae in the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia in Kepong I came upon a specimen of Willughbeia collected in Sarawak which proved to be a new species related to W. sarawacensis (Pierre) K. Schum. and W. anomala Markgr. but differing from them in the very much larger and more densely pubescent flowers. The genus Willughbeia Roxb. has recently been revised (Middleton, 1993) and unfortunately this species is not included. It will, however, be incorporated into the future Flora Malesiana account.
