Abstract: An LED-based lamp has a hollow plastic cylindrical body with a closed end and an open end. A wedge-base extends from the closed end, and a pair of bores on opposite sides of the closed end through the closed end permit leads to pass from inside the cylindrical body to the outside of the base. A variety of different LED structures can be mounted within the hollow body to project light out the open end of the body.

Abstract: A flexible light strip assembly includes a plurality of sockets and a pair of flexible conductive elements to which the sockets are attached. A pair of unitary, substantially identical electrical contacts are disposed in a 180° relationship or, alternatively, in a mirror image relationship within each socket to respectively provide vertical or horizontal bulb arrangements. The contacts pass through each socket for attachment to the conductive elements and are adapted to receive a conventional wedge base bulb. An optional raceway, cover, and mounting bracket facilitate installation of the light strip.

Abstract: The present invention relates to socket terminals for a socket into which a wedge base electric lamp is inserted. The socket terminals have a pair of spring portions positioned upwardly of a pair of contact members so that even if lead wires in the electric lamp are not properly bent, the lead wires may be corrected to their proper positions when the electric lamp is inserted into the socket to insure that the contact members may come into contact with the lead wires. The socket terminals have a connecting member or a clamping member to facilitate connections with external lead wires, printed circuit wiring or external cords.

Abstract: A connector attachment component is described which, together with using a light beam reflecting plate as a conductive reflecting plate and using its conductive projecting piece for fixing said reflecting plate and connecting the flow of current, provides an inexpensive and reliable heat-resistant structure by mounting a wedge base bulb to a relatively large non-heat-resistant member via a relatively small heat-resistant holder, and allows automated mounting of the above-mentioned holder to an attaching body, including the attachment of a connector to said holder.
