Abstract: An information handling system outputs plural types of TV out signal formats from a common TV out port by configuring graphics card digital-to-analog converters to generate a selected TV out signal and communicating the TV out signal through an appropriate adapter cable. For instance, graphics card VGA digital-to-analog converters are selectively configured to output component video with three converters, super video with two converters or composite video with one converter. The TV out signal is outputted at a super video port with component and composite video communicated through an adapter cable having a super video connector at one end and a component video connector at another end. Automated selection of the TV out signal format is performed by detecting the number of active TV out signals, three for component video, two for super video and one for composite video.

Abstract: A multifunctional telephone set is provided by the present invention. The multifunctional telephone set comprises a handset (11), a telephone chip (12), a telephone interface (13) and a keyboard (14). The multifunctional telephone set also comprises a main control chip (21), an audio/video output device (22) and a storage device (23), wherein said main control chip (21) comprises an audio/video receiving module (211) and an audio/video output module (212). Said audio/video receiving module (211) is used for receiving audio/video information transmitted from said telephone interface (13) and storing the received audio/video information in the storage device (23); and said audio/video output module (212) is used for retrieving the audio/video information from said storage device (23) according to a transmission instruction and transmitting the audio/video information to an external device via said audio/video output device (22). The present invention can integrate the audio/video reception and output functions in the telephone set, so that a user can download the audio/video information from a network by using the telephone, transmit the audio/video information to a television set via a TV Out interface, and watch the audio/video information on the television set. Therefore, the interest of the user in watching audio/video contents is enhanced and the use efficiency of the telephone set is improved.

Abstract: The invention belongs to the interface technology, specially a standard expanding interface of a handle device, using pin 30 terminal design and being added with a radio frequency antenna interface and a composite video input interface compared with iPod base interface. The radio frequency antenna interface is taken as first and second pin terminal. The composite video input interface is taken asseventh and ninth pin terminal. Other terminal function is defined accord with that of the iPod base interface. Other handle devices such as FM/AM radio, DAB, MP3, PMP, network radio and so on are capable of matching iPod base, which greatly expands scale of the iPod base product; the base interface provides the radio frequency antenna interface, which strengthens broadcast signal receiving capability and radio receiving sensitivity for the handle devices. The external video input (such as TV OUT) is capable of video recording through connected to the handle product of the built-in video recording function by the video input provided by the base interface.
