TL;DR: In this paper, color changing tape, label, card and game intermediates are used for evidence of use, concealing proprietary information or gaming or promotional information until the intermediate is separated, and the intermediate includes a substrate of clear or transparent or colored translucent polymeric film or translucent paper combined with judiciously selected cleanly separable translucent colored coatings in intimate contact to form one translucent color.
Abstract: This invention relates to color changing tape, label, card and game intermediates for evidence of use, concealing proprietary information or gaming or promotional information until the intermediate is separated. The intermediate includes a substrate of clear or transparent or colored translucent polymeric film or translucent paper combined with judiciously selected cleanly separable translucent colored coatings in intimate contact to form one translucent color that leave no residue when separated.
TL;DR: In this article, a safety device for intravenous administration of soluble medication or the like is disclosed wherein the valve regulating the flow rate of medication is positioned within an enclosure having a latched pivotable top or lid.
Abstract: A safety device for intravenous administration of soluble medication or the like is disclosed wherein the valve regulating the flow rate of medication is positioned within an enclosure having a latched pivotable top or lid. A tape label having a warning printed thereon is positioned about such enclosure and the latch thereon to preclude pivotal movement of the top and thus access to the valve unless the tape label is removed.
TL;DR: A tag label producing apparatus has a cartridge holder for setting a first roll configured by winding a base tape equipped with identification marks, which include marks formed by two black strips and arranged with a pitch 2Pp, at a plurality of portions as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: A tag label producing apparatus has a cartridge holder for setting a first roll configured by winding a base tape equipped with identification marks, which include marks formed by two black strips and arranged with a pitch 2Pp and marks formed by one black strip and arranged with the pitch 2Pp, at a plurality of portions, a feeding roller driving shaft that feeds the base tape supplied from the first roll attached to the cartridge holder a print head that makes a predetermined print on the base tape or a cover film to be bonded thereto, and a mark sensor that detects the identification mark on the base tape, and controls the feeding roller driving shaft and the print head in coordination with each other in accordance with the detection result of the identification mark by the mark sensor.
TL;DR: In this paper, a document editing device for a tape printer, capable of improving operability in selection of a print format, and to provide a taper printer, is presented. But it is limited to the use of a single tape.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document editing device for a tape printer, capable of improving operability in selection of a print format, and to provide a taper printer. SOLUTION: The device includes: a form selection means for selecting a print form related to the layout of input information for creating a tape label L from a plurality of form choices; a format selection means for selecting a print format for changing the form of the input information from a plurality of format choices; a RAM 52 which stores the plurality of format choices for each of the plurality of form choices in the descending order of use frequency in the plurality of form choices; and a display 5 which displays the input information, the plurality of form choices and the plurality of format choices read from the RAM 52. TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of detecting the terminal end of a tape from the terminal of an ink ribbon was solved by using a sensor mark formed on the sensor mark and detecting the distal end of the tape.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the number of sensors to be used and reduce the cost by discriminating and detecting the terminal end of a tape from the terminal end of an ink ribbon. SOLUTION: In the tape cassette 220, a printing tape 222 is formed to convey a ribbon cassette 70 in a roundabout manner, and to detect only a sensor mark formed on the sensor mark. A sensor mark is formed on the terminal end of the printing tape 222, and as passing though a tip end detection sensor 90, the sensor mark is read, the distal end is detected. If the ribbon sensor 70 and tip end detecting sensor 90 detect no sensor mark, a determination is made as to whether printing of the printing data of the present printing color is completed or not, and if completed, a determination is made as to whether the present printing color is the final printing color or not, and when it is the final printing color, the tape is conveyed at a predetermined length so at to be given a tape cut indication, after, that, the printing control is finished. It this operation, a detecting means needs not to be provided separately, thus the device is reduced it not cost.
