TL;DR: With the rapid decline in the cost of LSI hardware and display devices, computer graphics has found acceptance in diverse applications such as Computer Aided Design, real- time simulation, video displays, animation and home computers.
Abstract: The importance of Computer Graphics as a medium of man-machine communication cannot be over- emphasized. Until recently, computer graphics technology was relatively expensive to permit its widespread use. However, with the rapid decline in the cost of LSI hardware and display devices, computer graphics has found acceptance in diverse applications such as Computer Aided Design, real- time simulation, video displays, animation and home computers.
