Abstract: This study is a literature review on SWOT, qualitative and descriptive in nature. The study will examine SWOT Analysis in a historical, theoretical, time frame perspective, as an effective situation analysis technique which plays an important role in the fields of marketing, public relations, advertising and in any fields of requiring strategic planning. SWOT Analysis is an analysis method used to evaluate the ‘strengths’, ‘weaknesses’, ‘opportunities’ and ‘threats’ involved in an organization, a plan, a project, a person or a business activity. In this qualitative and descriptive study, firstly the position of SWOT Analysis in the strategic management process is explained, secondly the components of SWOT Analysis is examined. Abstract: Purpose – Effective internal communication is crucial for successful organisations as it affects the ability of strategic managers to engage employees and achieve objectives. This paper aims to help organisations improve internal communication by proposing theory with the potential to improve practice.Design/methodology/approach – This paper identifies gaps in the academic literature and addresses calls for discussion and definition of internal communication, for theory on its mandates, scope and focus and to counteract the tendency to treat employees as a uni‐dimensional “single public”. Abstract: Crisis management research is developing a solid line of research that examines the communicative responses of organizations in crisis. As we begin to address crisis responses, it is essential to develop an understanding of how to make the most effective use of these symbolic resources. Analyzing the crisis situation is an important step toward understanding the effective use of crisis responses. If we accept that the situation influences communicative choices, the crisis situation should influence the selection of crisis responses. This article reports the results of a study that tested a system of crisis situation analysis based on crisis responsibility. The article develops a rationale for the crisis responsibility base and reports the results of the study. The end product is an analytic system that provides a rough guide to the type of crisis responses the crisis manager should be employing.
