About: Silver subfluoride is a research topic. Over the lifetime, 5 publications have been published within this topic receiving 40 citations. The topic is also known as: silver(0,I) fluoride & disilver monofluoride.
TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal properties of silver fluorides and subfluorides were studied by derivative thermal analysis and by X-ray analysis, and conclusions were drawn on the decomposition mechanism.
TL;DR: In this article, the first measurements of the thermal parameters, strain, grain size, thermal expansion coefficients and vacancy density in this peculiar compound were made at different temperatures from room temperature to 20 K on a sample of silver subfluoride.
Abstract: Neutron powder diffraction measurements have been made at a number of different temperatures from room temperature to 20 K on a sample of silver subfluoride. The anti-CdI2 structure has been confirmed and no evidence of a crystallographic phase transformation was discovered. The author reports the first measurements of the thermal parameters, strain, grain size, thermal expansion coefficients and vacancy density in this peculiar compound.
TL;DR: In this paper, the work function of Ag 2 F was estimated from the threshold value of photoelectric emission, 5.5 4 eV, and also from the photoelectron spectroscopical method 5.4 9 eV.
