TL;DR: Research into C verification often ignores that the C standard leaves the evaluation order of expressions unspecified, and assigns undefined behavior to write-write or read-write conflicts in subexpressions—so called “sequence point violations”.
Abstract: Research into C verification often ignores that the C standard leaves the evaluation order of expressions unspecified, and assigns undefined behavior to write-write or read-write conflicts in subexpressions—so called “sequence point violations”. These aspects should be accounted for in verification because C compilers exploit them.
TL;DR: In this paper, the NC data for rough working based on a tool radius was used to minimize an idle cutting area and to improve efficiency by selecting a sequence point pass used for preparing NC data.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To minimize an idle cutting area and to improve efficiency by selecting a sequence point pass used for preparing the NC data for rough working based on a tool radius. CONSTITUTION:When a cutting path QLi for rough processing is outputted with an i-th sequence point pass PLi, the next cutting pass for rough processing is prepared and outputted with a sequence point path PLi' closest to an i-th sequence point path PLi of the i-th sequence point path PLi out of the sequence point pathes away by a radius Tr or above of a tool 21 for rough processing. Thus, with plural digitized sequence point path data, the rough working is executed for a work with the tool 21 of a prescribed radious Tr, and then, a small idle cutting area is sufficient and the efficiency is improved.
