TL;DR: A survey of planetary diameter measurements with the double-image birefringent micrometer and large diameter refractors provided, between 1953 and 1964, a total of 82 independent measurements of the planet Venus, all selected under excellent seeing conditions.
TL;DR: In this paper, a detector and a detection method for inversing three-dimensional shape of micro-particle by multi-channel scattering is presented. But the detection method is not suitable for the detection of small particles.
Abstract: The invention discloses a detector and a detection method for inversing three-dimensional shape of micro-particle by multi-channel scattering. Experiment is carried in spherical scattering cavity, which is characterized in that in space of 30-150 DEG polar angle and 360 DEG azimuth angle, four optical fiber jacks are equipped every other 15 DEG to form nine parallel azimuth angle round surfaces, namely to form four pairs of circular conical surface symmetrical to azimuth angle round surface at 90 DEG polar angle direction; synchronously, thirty-six optical fiber jacks form two mutual vertical round surfaces each containing eighteen optical fiber jacks, included angles between the round surfaces and feeding particle beams are both 45 DEG. Semidiameter of each measuring point of particle is extracted by scattering signal, then shape information of particles are obtained by connecting the points, the semidiameter of measuring point of particles are obtained by perfect Mie scattering theoretics, wherein alpha=2pir/lambda, r is optical point correspondence semidiameter of particles.
TL;DR: In this article, the Gamma-alumina carrier and the active components calculated by taking the carrier as primary standard according to the mass percent are taken. And the specific surface area of the Gamma alumina is 210 to 250m /g and the hole volume is 0.5 to 0.55ml/g.
Abstract: A reforming catalyst comprises Gamma-alumina carrier and the following active components calculated by taking the carrier as primary standard according to the mass percent: 0.1 to 3.0 percent of VIII metal, 0.1 to 3.0 percent of VIIB metal, and 0.5 to 5.0 percent of halogen. The specific surface area of the Gamma- alumina is 210 to 250m /g and the hole volume is 0.5 to 0.55ml/g; wherein, the holes semidiameter of which are less than 2 nanometer account for 2.0 to 5.0 percent of the total hole volume; the holes semidiameter of which are 2 to 5 nanometer accounts for 90 to 94 percent of the total hole volume; the holes semidiameter of which are 5 to 10 nanometer accounts for 3 to 6 percent of the total hole volume; the holes semidiameter of which are more than 10 nanometer accounts for 0.1 to 1.0 percent of the total hole volume. The catalyst used in naphtha reforming has the advantages of high liquid yield and aromatic hydrocarbon yield.
TL;DR: In this paper, measurements of the Sun semidiameter made with the Danjon astrolabe at Santiago, Chile, and with the magnetograph of the solar telescope of Mount Wilson Observatory during the period 1990-1995, show similar variations in time and with a similar trend as the variation of sunspot number.
Abstract: Measurements of the Sun semidiameter made with the Danjon astrolabe at Santiago, Chile, and with the magnetograph of the solar telescope of Mount Wilson Observatory during the period 1990-1995, show similar variations in time and with a similar trend as the variation of sunspot number. The consistency of these results obtained at different sites and with rather different observing techniques could be considered as an empirical evidency that a causal connection may exist between the solar activity and the variations of the apparent solar radius as observed at Santiago and Mount Wilson.
