Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain quick data communication by sending constitution section addition information identifying each constitution section via a communication line together with data information so as to relieve the operating load of a control section. CONSTITUTION:The constitution section additional information 25 is added to a format of a data signal sent/received between a communication terminal equipment 8 and a center 7. In the case of constitution section additional infor mation 'A', a display part or a data input part is represented, and in the case of information 'B', a data recording part is expressed and in the case of infor mation 'C', a control section is expressed. Thus, in the case of the reception, the data signal is shared by destination of the data information only with the additional information and in the case of transmission, at which constitution part the data information of the signal is generated is recognized quickly by the center side.

Abstract: In 1986 Congress passed Public Law 99-506, the “Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1986”. This law, amending the famous Rehabilitation Act of 1973, would have little consequence to the computer industry except that a small section, titled “Electronic Equipment Accessibility”, Section 508, was added to the Senate version of the bill. The final form OF the bill, agreed on in a conference committee, included Section 508, and the bill became law when it was signed by President Reagan on October 27, 19SG. On signing the bill into law Reagan stated: .“The special services made available through these programs help disabled persons, including the most severely disabled, attain productive employment and achieve greater economic and personal independence.” No doubt we all agree with the noble goals of fostering economic and personal independence for handicapped people, but how does Section 508 work for disabled people and what does it mean for those of us who are designers of software and hardware user interfaces for computers? First, let us examine the law itself

TL;DR: The incidence of HS and itching after epidural or intramuscular morphine in 44 women undergoing cesarean section was prospectively determined.
Abstract: Epidural morphine is commonly used for postoperative analgesia after cesarean section or gynecologic surgery (1). Its frequent side effects include pruritus, nausea, and vomiting; less frequently, ventilatory depression, urinary retention, or dysphoria occurs after epidural morphine (2-6). We have used this technique at our institution for several years and have noted it to be associated with an increased incidence of herpes simplex (HS) type I (labialis). To our knowledge, there are no published reports of HS after epidural morphine; HS after spinal morphine has been mentioned in one report (7). In the present study, we prospectively determined the incidence of HS and itching after epidural or intramuscular morphine in 44 women undergoing cesarean section.

TL;DR: It will be argued that the SOV- versus SVO-character of a language has important consequences for its possibilities of reflecting scope through word order and how these phenomena are dealt with in Rosetta.
Abstract: This paper deals with the treatment of Scope and, in particular, Negation in Rosetta, a Machine Translation system which translates between Dutch, English and Spanish (Spanish only as a target language). It will be argued that the SOV- versus SVO-character of a language has important consequences for its possibilities of reflecting scope through word order. A description will be given of the problems that arise translating from one type of language (the SOV-language Dutch) to the other (the SVO-languages English and Spanish). The extent to which these problems can be solved will be outlined. The paper has been divided into two main sections. In section one the phenomena are described linguistically, in section two a general idea is given of how these phenomena are dealt with in Rosetta.

Abstract: This book contains recent research on the taxonomy, morphology, biology, host associations, biological control, literature resources, and rearing techniques pertaining to parasitic Hymenoptera. Divided into four sections, it is based on the information presented at the II Conference on the Taxonomy and Biology of Parasitic Hymenoptera, held at Gainesville, Florida, November 19-21, 1987. Section I deals with the taxonomy and morphology of parasitic Hymenoptera. The advances made in the study of this subject during the 1980's are reviewed. Section II deals with biology and host associations. General reviews on host recognition behaviour, progeny and sex allocation, host relationships, host associations, dispersal behaviour, parasitic relationships among fig wasps, and others, of several groups of parasitic Hymenoptera are presented. Section III is devoted and rearing techniques. The more important literature on parasitic Hymenoptera is reviewed and an extensive and very useful bibliography is given.

TL;DR: In this article, a rotary transformer is used to confirm recorded information even in case of recording and reproducing by reproducing recorded information in a divided section, which is recorded beforehand, by a reproducing head when a recording head scans another divided section where information is not recorded.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To confirm recorded information even in case of recording and reproducing using a rotary transformer by reproducing recorded information in a divided section, which is recorded beforehand, by a reproducing head when a recording head scans another divided section where information is not recorded. CONSTITUTION:A scanning track inclined to the lengthwise direction of a tape is divided into four sections in the breadthwise direction of the tape, and divided sections 1, 3, 5, and 7 constitute a first divided section group where information is recorded at the time of a first tape scanning, and divided sections 2, 4, 6, and 8 constitute a second divided section group where information is recorded at the time of a second tape scanning. After a signal is recorded on the first section 1 by the recording head, the section 1 is scanned by the reproducing head to read out the signal, and the leading recording head scans the section 2 without recording the signal during this reading, and the recording head starts recording the signal in the section 3 when the reproducing head terminates reproducing; and thus, recorded information is confirmed without the occurrence of inter-signal crosstalk in the rotary transformer.
