TL;DR: This first section shall concentrate on the vital areas of fractions, decimals and percentages, and pay attention to the subject of averages and ways in which business data might be represented visually.
Abstract: Many of the skills you will be expected to develop through your work in this book will be acquired during the various Assignments which follow in the main body of the text — in Section 2. However, it is necessary for you to have a grasp of certain basic techniques before you progress to the Assignments. In this first section, therefore, we shall concentrate on the vital areas of fractions, decimals and percentages. We shall also pay attention to the subject of averages and, finally, look at ways in which business data might be represented visually. These techniques will then be developed further and treated at greater length during the course of the Assignments and other exercises which follow.

Abstract: In the long section of anapaests with which they make their entry, the old men of Argos methodically deliver three essential messages to the audience:40–71. It is the tenth year of the Trojan War.72–82. We are men who were too old to go and fight in it.83–103. Some new situation seems to be indicated by the fact that Clytemnestra is organizing sacrifices throughout the town.

01 Dec 1979-Survey of Anesthesiology
TL;DR: Observations of the infants immediately after delivery led us to conclude that either anesthesia technique is acceptable for elective cesarean section.
Abstract: This study was designed to re-evaluate neonatal condition at birth following elective cesarean section performed with epidural anesthesia and a modified technique of general anesthesia. Two groups of 20 patients were studied. Twenty received epidural anesthesia with 2 per cent lidocaine-carbon dioxide-epinephrine, and 20 patients were given general anesthesia. Modifications of our previous general anesthetic technique included the administration, to the mother, of high inspired concentrations of oxygen (66 per cent) prior to delivery, short induction-to-delivery intervals, and positioning of the mother in a 20 degrees left lateral tilt position. No significant differences in oxygen tension and acid-base balance in umbilical venous and arterial blood were demonstrated between the two sets of neonates. One-and five-minute Apgar scores and time to sustained respiration were similar in both groups. Our observations of the infants immediately after delivery led us to conclude that either anesthesia technique is acceptable for elective cesarean section.

TL;DR: In this article, the distinction of lateral and longitudinal writing before print and printing after rewriting into exclusive character patterns is checked by checking whether the character code obtained from the specific code detection section 15 to the character pattern corresponding to them is checked.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable correct representation, by checking the distinction of lateral and longitudinal writing before print and printing them after rewriting into exclusive character patterns. CONSTITUTION:If the character code obtained from the character code train external memory section 14 is specific code, the presence of the character code fed from the specific code detection section 15 to the character pattern cash memory 13 corresponding to them is checked. As a result, if not present, the converter 16 feeds the address of the character pattern external memory 11 and that of the memory 13 to the character pattern transfer control section 12. The control section 12 reads out the character pattern from the memory section 11 and writes in it to the memory 13. The conversion section 16 rewrites the character pattern of the memory section 20. Further, it is transferred from the conversion section 16 to the printer control section 17 and printed on the printer 18.

Abstract: This handbook was produced with the aim of providing students with an introduction to Old Irish literature as well as to the language. One of the notable Old Irish stories is used as the basic text. Examples of poems, and of the glosses, supplement it. All are thoroughly annotated. The grammatical information provided in these annotations is summarized in grammatical sections dealing with specific constructions and forms. The first fifty of these sections are descriptive; many of the same matters are discussed in the second fifty section from a historical point of view. A final glossary includes references to all words occurring in the texts. The apparatus was accordingly designed to permit a relatively easy approach to a very difficult language."

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable to retrieve correct spelling and its Japanese translation with a simple key operation, by memorizing the upper part only of the spelling of words such as English words, by selecting desired information providing a part of information inputted based on the operation of the retrieval instruction key. CONSTITUTION: The key input section K inputs a part of character information such as English words, and to the memory unit MU, a part of character information and desired character information corresponding to a part of character information and its Japanese translation are stored. With the operation of the retrieval indication key, a part of character information stored in the register X and the code of character information stored in the unit MU are detected JSC, and correct Japanese translation is obtained with the operation of the Japanese translation key. Thus, by memorizing the upper part of spelling of English words only, correct spelling and its Japanese translation can be retrieved with simple key operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
