Abstract: The present essay, extending bibliographic coverage of Africa's foremost novelist, Chinua Achebe, to the years 1970-75, seeks to identify and briefly describe: (1) recent works of Chinua Achebe and the reviews of these works, and (2) recent critical essays pertaining to all aspects of Achebe's works'which have not been previously identified in other bibliographies. The essay is divided into a descriptive section, topically subdivided, followed by a numbered bibliography containing the complete citations for the works mentioned in the descriptive portion. The bibliography follows the subject arrangement of the first section. Subject division includes: (1) retrospective bibliographic coverage of Achebe; (2) bio-bibliographic summary and reviews of recent works; (3) biographic materials and interviews; and (4) current criticism of Achebe's works, subdivided by form. The scope of the essay is limited in that it does not include anthologies, newspaper articles except for reviews and interviews, or doctoral dissertations. It is generally confined to English and French publications, although some African imprints have been included where possible. Finally, although most of the items were available and examined by the author, there were some which for various reasons were unavailable. Unexamined items have been included as addenda.

01 Feb 1977-Teaching of Psychology
TL;DR: This paper analyzed the sources from which introductory textbook writers draw their information, and compared the reputation and impact of these sources within the psychology profession, and found that 80% of all college students enroll in introductory psychology courses.
Abstract: It is estimated that at least 80 percent of all college students enroll in introductory psychology. lntroductory texts represent our profession's single most concerted effort to portray the field to tens of thousands of people annually. In fact, McCollum (1973) has suggested that "...psychology is to a large extent what is taught in the first course" (p. 364). It is important to consider how well the content of introductory texts reflects the nature of the field. One way in which this might be done is by analyzing the sources from which introductory textbook writers draw their information. These data, in turn, could be compared to the reputation and impact of these sources within the profession.
