Abstract: The invention relates to a setting method of a DC de-icing major loop, which comprises a three-phase three-winding rectiformer, a 12-pulsating rectifier device, a control protecting device, an automatic switching device and a DC side disconnecting link, wherein the link group of the three-phase three-winding rectiformer adopts D/d 0/y11 or Y/y 0/d11 link, two low-voltage side windings of the three-phase three-winding rectiformer misalign 30 degrees, two groups of low-voltage side three-phase outputs of the three-phase three-winding rectiformer are respectively connected to three-phase inputs of two valve groups of the 12-pulsating rectifier device, i.e. a converter; the anode output and the cathode output of the 12-pulsating rectifier device are respectively connected to a three-phase AC line needing to be de-iced through DC side switches when in a DC de-icing mode so as to form the DC de-icing major loop for performing the DC de-icing of the three-phase AC line. The invention has thefunctions of balancing the de-icing and operating at large-current for a long time, and can safely, conveniently and quickly de-ice; and DC de-icing once-expansion equipment can integrate the function of reactive power compensation.

The technical scheme is as follows: the single-direction power-transmitted low-cost direct-current transmission system has the structure that a diode rectifier, a direct-current transmission line containing a positive wire and a negative wire, and a modular multilevel current converter are orderly connected in series between the transmitting end system and the receiving end system; the diode rectifier comprises a rectiformer and a diode rectifier bridge; the primary side of the rectiformer is connected with the transmitting end system which provides active-power three-phase alternating current, and the secondary side is connected with the alternating current input end of the diode rectifier bridge; the positive pole of the diode rectifier bridge is connected with the positive pole of the direct-current transmission line, and the negative pole of the diode rectifier bridge is connected with the negative pole of the direct-current transmission line; and the modular multilevel current converter comprises a plurality of submodules (SM), a plurality of buffer reactors (3.2), and a phase reactor (3.3) or converter transformer.

The direct current thawing apparatus with the special rectiformer comprises an alternating current side power supply circuit breaker QF, an isolating disconnect switch K, a rectiformer, valve side current transformers Ivya, Ivyb, Ivyc, Ivda, Ivdb and Ivdc, a current converter, direct current side voltage transformers Udp and Udn, direct current side current transformers Idp, Idn and Idgnd, and direct current side knife switches S1, S2, S3 and S4. The direct current thawing apparatus has the advantages of reasonable design, low investment and low cost. The protection method ensures the direct current thawing apparatus to satisfy the demand of safe and quick thawing in all circuits, and lowers the investment into the direct current thawing apparatus. The invention has the advantages of ingenious design, favorable performance, low investment, complete protection functions, convenience and high practicality.

Abstract: Compared with conventional transformers, the rectiformer is special in connection mode, which is multi-tap and not equipped with the differential protection. In this paper, the differential protection algorithm for Multi-tap special transformer was derived. The regulating methods for the rectiformer were studied first, and then the rectiformer model of one electrolytic aluminium plant was built by PSCAD/EMTDC, characteristics of the rectiformer bank were also analyzed. The algorithm was derived on the basis of the per-unit system, and the processing methods of the regulating transformer’s tap position information were proposed. Finally, a contrast of differential protection algorithm between the multi-tap special transformer and the conventional transformer was made.
