Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply equipment excellent in antibacterial property and mechanical strength as compared with the conventional PVC pipe in the water supply equipment for supplying water to each water faucet in an optional building by branching a water supply pipe from a city water pipe and using the water supply pipe and a joint. SOLUTION: The water supply pipe 10 and joint 20 with the inner face coated with a film and made of copper or copper alloy are used as the water supply pipe and joint at the optional part of the water supply equipment, hence the antibacterial and sterilizing properties of copper are effectively utilized, and a water supply equipment excellent in mechanical strength is constituted. As a result, the water supply equipment using the copper pipe at its optional part and excellent in antibacterial property and mechanical strength is constituted as required by the orderer.
