Abstract: A signage display for a vehicle having a hitch receiver is provided that includes a frame defining a placard receiving area A tongue is coupled to the frame that extends rearwardly from the frame and away from the receiving area The tongue is adapted to be received within the hitch receiver of the vehicle A placard is removably coupled to the frame within the placard receiving area of the frame The signage display may thus be removably coupled to the hitch receiver of the vehicle The vehicle owner may change the placard within the receiving area to display a variety of messages, thus alleviating the problem associated with conventional bumper stickers In one embodiment, the frame is provided with a light socket and light that allow the placard to be illuminated
TL;DR: In this paper, a vehicle identification placard is mounted on the flat inner surface of a vehicle sun visor to display the vehicle's identification information from the exterior of the vehicle.
Abstract: A mounting apparatus for vehicle identification placards is provided that can be attached to the flat inner surface of a vehicle sun visor. The placard mount optionally includes a retainer body that is pivotally mounted to a base and provides a structure through which the placard is attached to the base. The pivotal mounting of the placard and placard retainer to the base allows the placard to be moved from a visible to a non-visible position simply by rotating the retaining body around the pivotal mount. To display the placard, the user simply lowers the sun visor which contains the mounting apparatus attached to a back side of the visor and then rotates the placard from its stored horizontal position downward to a vertical display position. In this position the placard is clearly visible from the exterior, such as for communicating to the authorities that the vehicle is properly parked in space, such as a handicapped space, where only authorized placard displaying vehicles should be parked.
TL;DR: In this paper, a placard holder has been provided which includes marginal flanges which lie in registration with the border area of the placard, the flanges having the same color as placard border and thereby appearing to one viewing the placards as a part of the border which must be visible to a viewer under the terms of said regulations.

The flanges serve the dual purpose of positioning the placard in the holder.
TL;DR: In this paper, an electronic display posting stand is used to control a stop location of a placard on a frame by measuring wind speed, and the unfolded state of the folding type placard is determined in order to stop the posting stand.
Abstract: PURPOSE: A control method for a placard and an electronic display posting stand is provided to control a stop location of a placard on a frame by measuring wind speed. CONSTITUTION: The location of a placard is converted by moving a folding type posting stand(120). The unfolded state of the folding type placard is determined in order to stop the posting stand. The moving member of the opened folding type placard or the location of an additional apparatus connected to the folding type posting stand is sensed. The number of passages for the additional apparatus or the mobile member is sensed. The folding type placard is controlled by wind pressure and wind speed. [Reference numerals] (AA) Banner
