Abstract: A method for determination of total contents of the essential active components, magnolol and honokiol, in varied Xiangshayangwei preparations by TLCS was established, and the total contents of the two components in 4 Xiangshayangwei preparations,i.e. pill, concentrated pill, granules and capsules, were compared. All of these provided reference data to the study of pharmaceutics and the quatity control of drugs.
