TL;DR: In this article, the taxonomic position of P. robusta Sch-Bip was considered based on the karyological-data obtained, and the interrelations between karyotypic features and the external morphological characters.
Abstract: 1. The observations of the chromosome number and the karyotype are carried out on some species in Pertya and Ainsliaea2. On the basis of the karyological-data obtained, the taxonomic position of P. robusta Sch-Bip was considered.3. All the members of the genus Pertya, excepting P. robusta Sch-Bip indicate to have a peculiar karyotype which can be called eupertya-type and it is detected that there are differences between the karyotypes of two genera, Pertya and Ainsliaea.4. A karyological similarity can be found in the following species; A. acerfolia and A. cordifolia considered from their karyotypic alternations.5. Forms of pappus and pollen in the genus Pertya are compared with those of the genus Ainsliaea, and considered the interrelations between the karyotypic features and the external morphological characters.
