Abstract: This invention provides novel adducts of cyclic ethylene urea which are useful as permanent press agents. These adducts include acid, polyacid, ester, and multiester derivatives of cyclic ethylene urea and can be produced by the reaction of the cyclic ethylene urea with glyoxylic acid and glyoxylic acid derivatives, specifically ester acetals of glyoxylic acid. Such materials impart a high degree of permanent press properties to cellulose and cellulose/polymer blend fabrics.

Abstract: A process for imparting flame resistance and the flame resistant fabrics produced by such process are provided. The process for imparting flame resistant properties involves treating a target fabric with one or more flame retardant chemicals (and, preferably, a softening agent) and then curing the treated fabric to durably affix the flame retardant to the fabric. In many cases, it may be desirable to subject the treated fabric to mechanical face finishing to increase softness. Optionally, stain release agents, soil repellent agents, permanent press resins, and the like may be added to the bath of flame retardant chemicals, eliminating the need for one or more additional manufacturing processes. Alternately, soil repellent agents may be applied to only one side of the treated fabric after the application of the flame retardant chemicals. The present fabrics exhibit improved performance and tear strength, even after repeated launderings, as compared to conventionally treated fabrics.

Abstract: This invention relates to the tidying solution for the spin industrial area, which is special about the cockle protection and permanent press tidying solution. The ingredient of pre liter solution is modified 2D resin 60-120g, DNUG resin 60-120g, dicyanogenamine 1-5g, catalyzer 5-50g, and the other is water. The modified 2D resin is the dihydroxymethyldihydroxyethyleneurea, the DNUG resin is the dimethylureaglyoxal. Adopting the above technical profile, it can completely resolve the content of residual formaldehyde is high after the process of permanent press, the textile strength is low, the anti abrading is low, and it is easy to break down. The textile after the processing by this invention has low residual formaldehyde, good anti crinkle, and the strength of the textile reduces and the anti abrading increases.
