Abstract: The reasons supporting the Chinese origin of florist's chrysanthemum, and contributions of Chinese chrysanthemum from ancient times to the present are briefly summarized in the paper. That the China Chrysanthemum Research Association should make every effort for applying to be appointed as the international Chrysanthemum cultivars authority in the near future is suggested. It is also proposed that exhibitions abroad of Chrysanthemum flowers and books, paintings, penjing(bonsai) and vase flower of Chrysanthemum should be organized to spread Chrysanthemum to the world. Indeed, Chinese chrysanthemum will dedicate more to the world in the future.
