TL;DR: In this article, a low density office paper was proposed, which improved the paper material to reduce the paper density and improve its thickness, therefore the erect intensity and anti-transparency of paper are improved, along with the improvement of using capability of paper low gram weight.
Abstract: This is new low density office paper. It improved the paper material to reduce the paper density and improve its thickness, therefore the erect intensity and anti-transparency of paper are improved, along with the improvement of using capability of paper low gram weight. The cost of office paper is reduced.
TL;DR: In this article, the printing energy given to thermosensible paper at an optimum value was determined by measuring the density of the paper color-developed by proper printing energy and controlling the paper density.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To determine printing energy given to thermosensible paper at an optimum value by measuring the density of thermosensible paper color-developed by proper printing energy and controlling the density of thermosensible paper so as to obtain the optimum state of color development. CONSTITUTION:Proper energy is determined previously by a printing-energy determining means 14, a thermal head 12 is controlled by a recording control means 13, and thermosensible paper 11 is color-developed. The base paper density and color developing density of thermosensible paper are measured by a density measuring means 15. The reading system of a transmission section can be used as the density measuring means 15 on a facsimile combining transmission and reception. The relationship of the printing energy and density of thermosensible paper differs according to thermosensible paper, but judgment is performed by the printing-energy determining means 14, and a result is transmitted over the recording control means 13.
TL;DR: In this paper, an image forming unit is used to form an image on paper fed from a selected feed tray, and a density sensor is employed to measure the density of the image formed on the paper.
Abstract: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus including: an image forming unit to form an image on paper fed from the selected feed tray; a density sensor to measure a density of the image formed on the paper; and a control unit to control execution of an output paper density adjustment in accordance with a result obtained by forming a test image on the paper by using the image forming unit and by measuring the density of the test image formed on the paper by using the density sensor, wherein the control unit executes the output paper density adjustment by changing the feed tray for feeding the paper, from the feed tray designated in a print job to the substitute feed tray at a predetermined timing while the print job is executed, regardless of the paper setting information related to the substitute feed tray.
