TL;DR: In this paper, a test method for diagnosing breast cancer using DNA methylation region (DMR) is proposed. But, the method is not suitable for breast cancer patients.
Abstract: The present invention provides a test method for diagnosing breast cancer, said method comprising measuring, in a sample containing DNA extracted from a subject, the methylation state of at least one CpG site present in at least one DNA methylation region (DMR) selected from DMRs specific to breast cancer or a breast cancer subtype within the JAK3 gene, RASGRF1 gene, CPXM1 gene, SHF gene, DNM3 gene, CAV2 gene, HOXA10 gene, B3GNT5 gene, ST3GAL6 gene, DACH1 gene, P2RX3 gene, and cg23495581 genome region.
