Abstract: PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Autoctone, tectonica, metamorfismo, Orogenia Varisca. ABSTRACT: A tectono-thermal evolution model is proposed for an autochthonous Central Iberian Zone sector, located below the Schistose Domain of Galiza- Tras-os-Montes Zone in the Palacoulo region. This work is based on the analysis of the micro, meso and macroscale tectono-metamorphic structures and fabrics observed. The main regional variscan deformation events have been identified, as well as their relationship with the local magmatic and metamorphic phenomena.
